Locals enjoy all that the city has to offer including surfing, swimming, jogging and shopping on Main Street and the new developments on Seal Beach Boulevard just north of Lampson Avenue.

College Park East

The neighborhood is located just north of the 405 freeway, south of Lampson Avenue, east of Seal Beach Boulevard and west of Manley Avenue.  There are approximately 1600 homes built in the 1960's and 1970's.  Properties are located on average sized parcels with square footage between 1400-2600+ square feet.

Located across from Old Ranch Country Club, College Park East also has 2 wonderful parks with children's play equipment and ample grass area for picnicking or play.  Heather Park has 2 public tennis courts available for year round use.

Just north on Seal Beach Boulevard are newly renovated shopping centers including "The Shops at Rossmoor" with California Pizza Kitchen, Pei Wei, Complexions and more, as well as the area across the street with Ralph's, Target, Islands, Macaroni Grill and more.

Los Alamitos School District

Aside from the ample neighborhood amenities, College Park East belongs to the award winning Los Alamitos School District.  Los Alamitos Unified School District is nationally recognized for it's excellence in education.  Los Alamitos USD consists of 6 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 1 comprehensive high school and 1 continuation high school.  All of the schools have been selected as California Distinguished Schools, most more than once! And 7 out of the 9 comprehensive schools have been honored with the prestigious National Blue Ribbon award.

One of the reasons that Los Alamitos USD is so successful is the community involvement throughout the district.  Parents and community members are welcomed as partners in the children's education.  There are many opportunities to become involved and everyone is welcome!
